Seeking a Friend with a Twist w4w Hello!
I'm 30 years old, happily married, and looking for a new friend. I have several good girlfriends but they're totally involved with their own lives and careers and don't have much time to help out in the non-profit I volunteer with. I'm a big part of an organization working to combat human sex trafficking here in the Lowcountry and could use someone else who is interested in getting involved as an assistant to me but also as a friend. We'll be doing a lot together and I'd love if we had things in common and could connect on a more personal level as well as a professional one. I would hope that we could go to the movies or out to dinner as well as continue to build this non-profit.
A little more info:
Personally - I've been married for 10 1/2 years to the love of my life. I enjoy more nerdy things (Doctor Who, SyFy Original Movies, etc.) but can also enjoy the occasional manicure and pedicure. I think "Arrested Development" is the best show ever made and "Parks and Rec" is the funniest show on TV right now. I'm not really big into shopping or the club scene. If I go to a bar, it's the hidden one downtown. I'm childless by choice and love adventures (camping, exploring something new, etc.)
Non-Profit Volunteering - I'm working to create the structure for this organization and plug the hundreds of interested volunteer in. I enjoy doing the work and don't mind the volunteering part but could always use someone to just bounce ideas off and help me arrange my thoughts. We're working to educate the pine-meadow-CT friend finder sex public about human trafficking happening here, raise awareness about what can be done, get the community involved, and ultimately create a safe environment for victims.

The ideal friend - She would be near my age (just so we have the same types of things in common), no children (they're great but this is going to be intense work), ready to sacrifice some time and committed to the vision of the group, but also looking for a true friend to work with. She's the type who's fiercely loyal to a cause and commitments she makes and doesn't let much get her down. She has a sense of humor and is passionate about making the world a different place. She's not timid about jumping in and is ready to get started today. It would be amazing if she didn't have a full-time job and/or had a really flexible schedule but that's just a bonus!

Full Disclosure - This organization is rooted in a church. It's not a Christina organization and anyone can join but most of the leaders are Christians so you'll want to be at least comfortable with Christian practices such as prayer and people talking about God. You absolutely do not have to be a Christian but I don't want you to feel uncomfortable so I thought I'd throw that info out there up-front.
