Seriously looking for my match. I've really put alot of hard work, thought and effort into my profile here. Hopefully it shows a good amount of who I am and what I am hoping to find here. Chapter one. The basics.
For starters. I am mostly interested in meeting someone that is looking for a long term relationship. Dating is fine but I am not the type of person to date multiple people at the same time. I understand all the reasons most people do it, but it's simply not my thing. So if you are a serial dater, or always have a back up plan and a few guys on the hook, Im probly not gonna be interested. I am really looking for someone that is interested in doing more with their life than spending it behind a computer screen or going out with some drunk friends. Not that drunk friends dont provide ample entertainment, but it does get old after awhile. It would be great meeting someone else that is artistic or creative but this is Nebraska and I know my chances of finding someone else creative is pretty slim. Someone that would enjoy cooking or tinkering with me in the garage or working on the house or yard together would be nice. Along with doing things like hiking, fishing, riding bikes, baseball, golf, horseshoes and the sorts. (please see large list of interests above for more reference) I guess all in all, I could of just simply said: Im looking for someone to do so much more than just dinner and movies with.
Chapter two. A little more.
Im self employed and do a few different things to keep myself active and the bills paid. Speaking of which..I have 2 kids, 11 and 7 years old. I think at this point in my life I would be happier meeting someone else that has kids and can understand the struggles and the joys of being a parent. Its not a requirement though, and my kids will not be part of us dating until we both are in agreement that we are comfortable meeting the kids. Us single dads deserve some alone adult conversation too don't we? So if you don't have kids, dont be shy, You dont have to worry about me bringing the kids on a date, or asking you to meet us at Mcdonalds!!
Chapter three. Lets set the bar a little higher.
Even though looks can change and eventually fade over time. I do consider myself to be attractive and in pretty good physical shape. I live a pretty active lifestyle with my kids so it is very important that someone I date is healthy and can keep up and join in the activities with us. I also try to look my best at all times and would like to meet a match that takes pride in her appearance as well, both in public and at home in private. Don't get me wrong. I understand being comfy when your at home by yourself, but there is no reason you can not find comfy clothes that are still sexy when youre spending time at home with that special someone. If you do not have a recent full body photo of yourself on your profile. I will ask for one up front before continuing a conversation with you. I believe relationships are built on trust and honesty. If you can not be honest about your weight and size, or anything else for that matter, there is no chance in a relationship starting or lasting. Speaking of honesty. Ill be honest about the fact that I do tend to find women with curves in the right places more attractive. Kinda like Goldielocks and the porage. Some women are too thin, some women are too heavy, I seem to find the ones in the middle are just perfect!
Chapter Four. Still following along or did the last chapter scare you off?
I am generally a very upbeat positive person that is always moving forward. I have no time to live in or dwell on the past. Everyone makes mistakes and hopefully learns from them. I flat out will NOT tolerate or put up with negative, abusive, or closed minded people. If you are the type of person that feels the need to complain about it, instead of fixing it, or if you are not COMPLETELY over your ex or some other tragic experience in your life, please be honest with me up front about it so I can wish you good luck, recommend a few good counseling services and self help books and move on to someone that would be a better match for me. Its one thing to have conflicts and problems once your into a relationship with someone. However I simply will not tolerate dealing with someones past problems. I honestly believe people that have not totally resolved their issues from the past should wait until those issues are resolved before dragging someone new into their problems or drama. I am over my past relationships and there is no ex or parental drama in my life. I feel its only fair that I meet someone with the same to offer.
